If you ask local students to name one pub in Newcastle's Jesmond area, the first most will mention is The Hancock.
Sandwiched between the city's two universities, we give hard-working students (and a few not-so-hard-working ones) everything they could want from a city centre pub. With hearty food, a big heated beer garden, lots of pool tables, big squishy sofas and 18 TV screens showing live sport, it's no wonder we're so close to their hearts. Plus, we like to keep things interesting with loads of events and deals and offers throughout the week.

The Hancock is a great pub to watch the football at on the weekends, as it has several screens and a great atmosphere. It's always very lively, it's got plenty of seating inside and out. For really good food and drink offers this is the pub to go to!
