The Northumbria Police and Crime Commissioner is seeking independent people to sit on police misconduct panels. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have an understanding of the need for high standards of conduct in the police service and a commitment to fairness and equality. The qualities sought include strong analytical and communication skills, self-confidence and the ability to take a balanced, open minded and objective approach to issues presented.

A daily allowance for attending hearings is payable.
