Seven Stars, Northumberland’s Learning Disabled theatre company are holding a recruitment drive and calling out to all adults aged eighteen and above who are learning disabled to join the group.

Established in 1997 and based in the old church Waterloo road, Blyth, the Stars meet regularly to devise, rehearse and exercise their creative talents in a supportive friendly environment.

When they aren't devising and rehearsing, the group are often out on the road performing their shows and captivating audiences throughout the North East.

Headway Arts who support the group and provide them with professional arts practitioners, are offering three taster sessions for all potential interested parties on the 30th May, 6th and the 13th June. The sessions are absolutely free and provide an excellent introduction to participatory theatre.
