This is the vegan festival of the year - a local event run by local vegans for local groups with all things vegan and live music throughout.

About this event

Welcome to our (pandemic postponed and now rescheduled) music and vegan festival. We will have music throughout the day from local and regional musicians, as well as good food, lots to buy and like minded people to talk to. (This was previously the Tyneside Vegan Festival held in Gateshead, but the venue is no longer available.) We have rebranded it as a music and vegan festival as we have had such good feedback about our musicians we thought we would like to make them a bigger part of our event. If you know of anyone who would like to have a stall please ask them to contact northeastanimalrights@hotmail.com

We have a fabulous list of sponsors and donors who are supporting us. We already have a fabulous list of traders and animal rights groups. We have a packed live music schedule. We would love to see you there with us. Whether you are an old-school or longterm vegan or a new one or vegan -curious we will have something for everyone. 

This venue is close to Central Station regional train station, Haymarket Metro station (plus Manors and Monument) as well as local and regional buses and has lots of parking nearby. There is a traders' only car park. The venue is accessible to all. 

Net profits from the event will be split between North East Animal Rights and Animals Asia NE Support Group.
