Would you like to make and star in your own film?

 

If this sounds like you, then you can apply for a place on Beacon Films BFI Film Academy 2018.

No experience is needed and applicants of all abilities are welcome.

The Film Academy includes 11 FREE filmmaking workshops and professional filmmakers who help you make your own film.

Workshops take place on Sundays from December 2018 up until February 2019 half term holiday.

Bursaries are available to cover travel and additional support costs.

 

How to apply:

Firstly you must attend a free taster workshop. This lasts approximately 2 hours. You must book a place in advance.

Session 2: 1pm-3.15pm

After the Taster and Application workshops, 12 young people will be offered a place. If awarded a place, there will be a one-off £25 administration fee.

 

All workshops are FREE to attend and take place in Newcastle.
