During the Coronavirus / Covid-19 outbreak, some Pharmacies in North Tyneside commissioned to provide Stop Smoking Services are currently able to provide telephone support to stop smoking. This is instead of face-to-face support in consultation rooms.  Alongside this support, Smokers, or their relatives if they are unable to, can collect stop smoking medications from pharmacies or have them delivered if that is suitable. With smokers being at increased risk of severe respiratory disease from Covid-19, we are keen to raise awareness that there is still support available to quit.
